I Envision a Better Vallejo….

A Vallejo that values SAFETY for all.  Everyone deserves to feel secure in their homes and neighborhoods. My vision is to enhance public safety by fostering strong relationships between the community and law enforcement, promoting community-led initiatives, and ensuring that all residents, regardless of background or income, have equal access to safety and protection.

A Vallejo that provides affordable, equitable, and inclusive HOUSING for all.  Housing is a basic human right, and I am committed to making sure everyone in Vallejo has access to affordable, safe, and stable housing. I will push for policies prioritizing affordable housing, protecting renters, and creating homeownership opportunities across all income levels. We must create a future where no one is left behind in their quest for a home.

A Vallejo full of OPPORTUNITIES, with living-wage JOBS, a bustling downtown, and a waterfront with thriving local businesses and places of entertainment for all.  Vallejo’s potential for growth is limitless, and I envision a city where local businesses thrive, offering good-paying jobs that can support families. We will create an economic environment where small businesses and entrepreneurs can succeed, revitalizing our downtown and waterfront into vibrant hubs for commerce, culture, and entertainment that reflect the diversity of our community.

A Vallejo where all have the right to a vibrant QUALITY of LIFE.  Quality of life is about more than just survival—it’s about thriving. I am committed to ensuring that all Vallejoans have access to green spaces, recreational activities, quality education, healthcare, and cultural experiences that enrich our lives. Together, we can build a city where everyone from our youngest to our valued elderly enjoys abundant opportunities. Too often overlooked, I will continue my work for our youth and aging populations.  

A Vallejo that becomes a regional model for good government and PUBLIC TRUST.  Transparency, accountability, and integrity should be the cornerstones of our local government. I envision a Vallejo where our leadership earns the people's trust through open communication, ethical decision-making, and policies that serve the best interests of all. I will work tirelessly to restore faith in our government and make Vallejo a model city for effective and honest governance.
