I’m Dr. Tonia Lediju, and I’ve proudly called District 3 home for over 15 years.

As current Vice-Chair of the Housing and Community Development Commission and a board member of the Glen Cove Community Association, I’m dedicated to making Vallejo a better place for all. I work closely with Vallejo Together to advocate for sustainable solutions for our unhoused neighbors, bringing data and analysis to help guide decision-making. 

I’m passionate about finding creative ways to use federal funds to support housing-insecure residents and build a safer, more inclusive Vallejo. I frequently collaborate with local organizations like Vallejo Main Street and non-profits to strengthen our community, ensuring they can compete for grants and resources that benefit Vallejoans.

My career includes roles as:

- CEO, San Francisco Housing Authority: chosen to lead SFHA in 2019 during a financial crisis and successfully turned it around in just one year, restoring HUD compliance

- City Auditor, City of San Francisco

- Chief Audit Executive, California’s Employment Development Department

- Audit Director, Department of Child Support Services 

- Audit Director, California Highway Patrol

My educational achievements include:

- Ph.D., Organizational Systems, Saybrook University

- M.A., Leadership, St. Mary’s College

- B.A., Business Administration, California Baptist University

Now, I’m eager to continue serving District 3 and making Vallejo a stronger, more vibrant community.
